By enrolling in any course, attending classes, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. General Use & Acceptance
This website and all services provided by IIT Vayu are intended for educational and informational purposes. By accessing our website, enrolling in courses, or using our services, you agree to comply with all terms outlined below. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (or your parent/guardian if you are a minor) and IIT Vayu.
2. Course Enrollment & Admission
Eligibility: Students must meet the specified eligibility criteria for each course. Age restrictions and academic prerequisites apply as mentioned in course descriptions.
Admission Process: Admission is subject to availability and completion of all required documentation. We reserve the right to refuse admission based on our assessment criteria.
Course Commencement: Courses will commence as per the announced schedule. We reserve the right to reschedule or postpone batches with minimum 48 hours notice.
3. Fee Structure & Payment Terms
Payment Schedule: Fees must be paid as per the agreed payment schedule. Late payments may result in:
- Suspension from classes until payment is cleared
- Late payment charges as applicable
- Cancellation of enrollment in case of prolonged default
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer, and UPI payments. All payments should be made in favor of “IIT Vayu” only.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable under normal circumstances. However, refunds may be considered in the following exceptional cases:
- Course cancellation by IIT Vayu due to insufficient enrollment
- Medical emergencies with proper documentation
- Relocation due to job transfer (with supporting documents)
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of course commencement with valid supporting documents. Processing fee of ₹500 will be deducted from approved refunds.
5. Student Responsibilities & Code of Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Attend classes regularly and punctually
- Complete assignments and homework on time
- Maintain discipline and respect towards faculty and fellow students
- Provide accurate information during enrollment
- Follow safety protocols and institute guidelines
- Not engage in any activities that disrupt the learning environment
Violation of conduct rules may result in warnings, suspension, or expulsion without refund.
6. Institute Responsibilities & Limitations
What We Provide: Quality education, experienced faculty, study materials, regular assessments, and academic guidance.
What We Don’t Guarantee: Specific exam results, rank achievements, or admission to particular institutions. Success depends on individual effort, attendance, and performance.
7. Study Materials & Intellectual Property
All content including study materials, test papers, video lectures, graphics, logos, course structure, and teaching methodologies are owned or licensed by IIT Vayu. Students are prohibited from:
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing study materials
- Recording audio/video lectures without permission
- Sharing materials with non-enrolled students
- Using materials for commercial purposes
8. Health & Safety
Students with medical conditions that may affect their learning or require special attention must inform the institute at the time of enrollment. We maintain a safe learning environment and expect students to follow all safety protocols.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process personal information for educational and administrative purposes. Your data will be kept confidential and not shared with third parties except as required by law or for educational partnerships that benefit students.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide accurate and timely information, IIT Vayu shall not be liable for:
- Any direct or indirect damages arising from use of our services
- Errors or omissions in study materials or information
- Failure to achieve desired exam results
- Loss or theft of personal belongings on premises
11. Force Majeure
IIT Vayu shall not be liable for any delays, interruptions, or inability to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, internet outages, pandemic restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through:
- Primary: Direct discussion with institute management
- Secondary: Mediation through mutually agreed mediator
- Final: Legal proceedings in courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated through our website, email, or notice board. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
